Thrive Academic Adviser
Erin is the Academic Adviser to the Thrive Program.
She is a qualified teacher and prior to joining Perform Australia, she Religious and Values Education for seven years. Originally she trained as an art teacher, so brings a strong understanding of the importance of creativity to student experience and wellbeing, which is consistent with our values at Perform Australia.
It may be of interest that Erin is also an ordained minister in the Anglican church, though she has not been working professionally in a church for some years. Erin has a great strength in pastoral care and is sensitive to the needs and issues facing young people today. Having also trained as a counsellor, Erin is wonderfully open-minded towards all students, irrespective of their religious/non-religious background and orientations.
Erin is thrilled to be working with young people in Thrive and assisting with their distance education and pastoral care.
