If you imagine yourself on stage in Wicked, Hamilton, The Lion King or even Dear Evan Hansen, this could be the program for you!
The Musical Theatre Experience (MTX) is aimed at students who are keen to explore a wide range of musical theatre repertoire. Taught by industry professionals, MTX helps students develop their individual skills as a performer while also working towards important ensemble performance skills. Your tutor will give you individual coaching in the context of a group class to help you advance quickly as a performer. You'll get to perform every second term, with opportunities to present:
This class is great preparation for students hoping to enter the CUA40513 Certificate IV in Musical Theatre, and is a huge step up for those who have aged out of our musical theatre program for 9-15 year olds. |

Your tutor
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Amy Orman moved to the USA to follow her dream of performing. She has worked as a musical theatre performer in Chicago and New York. A true triple threat, she was most recently seen on stage singing in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
She has appeared on TV in ABC's Betrayal, in print campaigns for Weber Grill, All State Insurance and Huntington Bank, and was the voice of Princess Amelia in Uppercut Games' iOs video game Epoch 2. Amy holds a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre from McDonald College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. |
