Podcasting has taken the world by storm! - and you can be a part of it. This two-day course will give you skills in how to plan, produce, present and promote your podcast, whether it be for business, training or pleasure. You'll work with Jen Seyderhelm, who is not only a podcast presenter and producer, she's also a radio announcer, news reader, writer, and music historian. Walk away with a demo podcast, interviews and basic editing skills - it's all you need to get started.
We are looking at running this course face-to-face on a weekend at our Fyshwick campus in June/July 2020, depending on social distancing requirements. Express your interest today and we'll get in touch once we're good to go!
Curious about acting, but never had the chance to try? Acting 101 is one of our most popular courses. Designed for beginners, it introduces you to the fundamentals of acting through a range of drama games and acting activities. You'll learn about what an actor does, how to work with scripts, how to improvise, and much more. On the last week you'll get a chance to perform a short piece in our theatre for your family and friends! This course is suitable for people new to acting or keen to return after a long break. The youngest person to complete this course was 16 and the oldest was 76! - so there is no age limit and anyone can join in the fun.
This course runs for eight weeks, once a week in the evening. We're looking at reopening this class face-to-face in Term 3 (week beginning Monday 20 July). If you're interested, please express your interest now:
