Jasmine David
Teaching Artist

Jasmine David is a director and actress with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Directing from the Australian National University. She works across theatre and screen, with a strong focus on performance training, creative confidence, and collaborative storytelling.

Jasmine was President of ANU Law Revue, where she produced one of the university’s largest theatre revue productions, overseeing creative direction, sponsorship and team coordination.
​
In 2026, she is directing High School Musical for the ANU Musical Theatre Society. She has also worked closely with Canberra Repertory Theatre, gaining hands-on experience in rehearsal leadership, ensemble work, and performance development.

Jasmine, as a teacher and director, is dedicated to working with young people and fostering supportive, inclusive environments where students feel safe to take creative risks. Her teaching approach combines encouragement with clear structure, enabling students to develop their skills, build confidence, and establish a strong foundation in performance.
