Leah Griffiths
Teaching Artist

Leah Peel Griffiths (She/her) is a passionate performer, theatre-maker, and teaching artist who brings over a decade of hands-on experience in the world of theatre. She trained at Charles Sturt University in Theatre Media, and at Brent Street, where she developed a strong foundation in acting, musical theatre, physical theatre, puppetry and dance.

From this crucial starting point, her performance credits span a wide range of genres and styles, with notable roles including The Witch in “Into The Woods” (Sydney Youth Musical Theatre, 2022), Belle in “Beauty & The Beast” (Orange Theatre Company 2021), The S.Q.U.I.P in “Be More Chill” (North Shore Theatre Company, 2023) and Dinosaur Puppeteer and Park Ranger in “Jurassic World: The Exhibition” (Superluna Live & Universal Studios, 2023-2024).
Most recently, she returned to the stage and made her Canberra musical debut as Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family” (Canberra Philharmonic Society 2025) for which she was awarded the 2025 “Ovation for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical”.

Leah believes theatre is a powerful tool for self-expression, confidence-building and community, and that the values learned through the act of collaborative creativity can set young people up for a life led by curiosity, empathy and adaptability.
She is thrilled to be a part of a community that empowers the next generation of theatre-makers and storytellers, and she can’t wait to create, play and grow alongside her students.
