Teaching Artist

Martin Magill cropped.jpg

Martin is a local singer and pianist, and has studied musica and maths at the Australian National University. He conducts and assists with a wide range of ensembles, including Canberra Men’s choir and the DFAT choir (The Diplomatic Notes).

He also teaches sight-singing and individual piano lessons. In his extra time, Martin plays in local ensembles across various musical styles and genres. With a backing in jazz piano and classical singing, his versatility lends itself well to musical theatre.

He currently works as the musical director for Perform Australia's junior musical theatre program, and thoroughly enjoys helping new or inexperienced students find their voices for the first time.
